Hello From India!!

Hi everyone! Our plane ride was loads of fun. We went on Etihad airlines. All of our seats had tv screens on the back, so we constantly had things to do. I watched Kung Foo Panda, Madagascar, Journey 2 and I listened to music. The food was good. They gave us ice cream to eat, but I was asleep and mine melted! We had a quick stop in Abu Dhabi before flying the final 4 hours. When we reached India we whizzed through immigration and met Amachi and Thatha. There were 3 things that I realized when we stepped out of the airport. 1. It was crowded. 2. It was loud. 3. It was boiling. Not exactly the most exciting mix. India is really hot most of the time, but we all still are jet-lagged so we spent the hottest time ( 1 p.m.- 5p.m. ) sleeping. So far we have only left the house 7 or 8 times. Neil, Kiren, Riyana, and Tiyasha are loving and and getting ready to go to the pool. We will leave for Bangalore in a few days. I am looking forwards to the wedding and communion. Hope everyone is doing fine. I just redid the layout to my blog to give it a summer-y vibe. Bye!

Summer of Fun: Bucket List

This is my bucket list, or list of things that I want to do. Some of these will be accomplished in the Summer, but others won't.

Bucket List

• Wear a t-shirt that says life and hand out lemons on the street
• Yell 'PIKA PIKA' before someone sneezes
• Learn how to say I love you in 10 languages
• Go snorkling in the Great Barrier Reef
• See my best friend for 10 days in a row
• Go to a wedding and do a dance
• Write and publish a book
• Sit courtside at a Bulls v. Heat playoff game (a must)
• Wear mismatched socks
• Go to a major sporting event
• Throw a huge party and invite every single one of my friends
• Complete my summer of fun!
• Swim with dolphins
• Spend a whole day eating junk food without feeling guilty
• Tell someone the story of my life- without sparing any details
• Send a message in a bottle
• Plan a fake wedding
• Make a motto for myself and follow it
• Sleep under the stars
• Go to Carnival in Rio
• Find a job I love
• Make a bowl of peeled, seedless grapes
• Ski a black diamond
• Make a family tree
• Reflect on my biggest weakness and find ways that is my biggest strength
• Skydive
• Write a thank you letter every day for a whole year
• Own a cupcake bakery
• Learn to do a flip on a trampoline
• Win a contest
• Walk along the Great Wall of China
• Build a real tree house
• Have a huge closet
• Mentor someone
• Make a diffrerence

Summer Of Fun: Kick-off Post

With only 10 days left till the India trip time is flying! Everyone is soooo busy with packing (which hasn't been done yet for our family), cleaning, and getting ready. School ended on Friday, so now I have more time to do things like keep up with my blog!! I am so excited and soo ready to go. So to start off and keep me occupied, I'll start my summer of fun!!
